Dons Win CIF Playoff Opener - Dons 7 Los Osos 4
On an unusually windy day at Eddie Matthews field, the Santa Barbara Dons baseball team beat Los Osos in the first round of the CIF playoffs.
Danny Zandona looked sharp, mixed up his pitches, struck out four batters and didn't walk anyone. He pitched a complete game and picked up his 9th win of the year.
The Dons never trailed after Trey Barrett hit a 2 run home run in the first inning. Joey Gonzales, Trey Barreett, Pepe, Gil, Robert Crawford and Kees t'Sas all had RBIs. Jack Crummer, Joey Gonzales, Trey Barret, Pepe Gil and Collin Dewell all had multiple hits.
