Dons pick up another win in the Chatsworth Tournament by beating Cleveland.
Alex Spatz started and got the win. Trey Barrett pitched in relief and closed the game.
Pepe Gil had two hits. Kees t’Sas and Joey Gonzales each had three hits.

The Dons prevailed in a close game against cross town rival San Marcos to stay on top of the Channel League standings.
Kees t'Sas started, pitched 4 2/3 innings, struck out 5 and picked up his 3rd win of the year. Gavin Feuer came in relief and got some big outs to secure the win for the Dons.
Trey Barrett, Kees t'Sas, Collin Dewell and Danny Zandona drove in runs for the Dons. Cameron Gniadek had a single and double; Jack Crummer had three singles; Danny Zandona had a single and a double, and Collin Dewell had a single and a home run.

The Dons offense stayed in high gear as they defeated San Marcos at Eddie Matthews Field.
Danny Zandona pitched 6 innings, struck out four batters and got his 6th win of the year. Gavin Feuer closed the game and struck out two.
The Dons scored in every inning and every batter in the lineup got a hit. Cameron Gniadek, Trey Barrett, Pepe Gil, Collin Dewell and Danny Zandona drove in runs for the Dons. Kees t'Sas and Jack Crummer each hit two singles. Pepe Gil had a single and a double and drove in three runs. Trey Barrett had a double and a home run and drove in 3 runs. Collin Dewell hit a grand slam and drove in 5 runs.

The Dons brought up JV pitcher Lucas Benanati to pitch the championship game. Lucas looked sharp, pitched a complete game and only gave up one earned run.
Every batter in the Dons lineup got a hit. Cameron Gniadek, Jack Crummer, Joey Gonzalez, Trey Barrett, Danny Zandona and Colin Eaton all drove in runs for the Dons. Jack Crummer had a double and a triple. Trey Barrett had a single and a double. Pepe Gil had a single and a double.

At he Righetti Tournament, the Dons won both games of the opening doubleheader.
In the fist game it was Dons 15 Pioneer Valley 3.
In the second game the Dons came from behind to win. The final score was Dons 11 Lompoc 7.
Danny Zandona started, pitched 4 innings and picked up his 5th with on the season. Kees t'Sas came in for relief and finished the game and struck out four. Jack Crummer had two singles, Trey Barrett had a single and a double, and and Pepe Gil also had a single and a double.
The Dons play the Royals tomorrow (4/8) at Elks Field in Santa Maria to continue the tournament.

Trey Barrett was named the Athlete of the Week at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table luncheon. During the week, Trey went 6-for-8 at the plate, drove in 11 RBIs, and in one inning hit two home runs. Congratulations to Trey from all Dons fans.

The Dons overcame a 3-0 defiicit and ended up beating Buena 6 - 5 in an important Channel League game.
Danny Zandona pitched a complete game and got his 4th win of the season.
In the 4th inning, the Dons scored 5 runs with 2 outs to take a 5 - 3 lead that they never gave up.
In the 6th inning Kees t'Sas hit a home run to give the Dons their 6th run which was needed to secure the victory.
Cameron Gniadek had two doubles, Jack Crummer had two singles, and Pepe Gil had a single and a double to lead the Dons offense.
